Targets
When connected to a conventional instrument the number next to the target icon in the status bar indicates the target currently in use.
Target 1 and Target DR are already created for you. These targets can be edited but cannot be deleted.
You can create up to nine non‑DR targets. See Adding a target.
You can configure the properties of the target at any point during a conventional survey.
Changing targets
When connected to a DR instrument, Target DR is used to define the DR target height and prism constant. To enable DR, select Target DR. To disable DR and return the instrument to its last state, select target 1–9.
Editing the target height
To edit the target height, tap the target icon in the status bar and then tap in the Target height field and enter the new value.
To change the Target height measurement method, tap and select the appropriate option for your survey setup. See Target height measurement methods.
If required, you can edit target height records for observations already stored in the job. See To edit antenna and target height records.
Enabling and disabling target controls and functions
To enable or disable target functions during a survey, tap the instrument icon in the status bar to open the Instrument functions screen and then tap the required tile. See Enabling or disabling target controls and functions.
Configuring target control settings
Configure settings for searching for, locking onto, and handling obstructed targets in the Target controls screen. See Target control settings.
