Operating the DA2 receiver
Before using the Trimble Catalyst DA2 GNSS receiver, make sure you are familiar with the Important safety information for the DA2 and Important handling information for the DA2.
To power on the DA2 receiver:

Connect the DA2 to a power source such as a USB battery pack.

Briefly press the Power button on the bottom of the DA2 receiver until the LED starts blinking blue.
To avoid clearing stored Bluetooth device settings, do not press-hold for more than ten (10) seconds.
The DA2 starts up and immediately starts searching for GNSS satellites. The Bluetooth radio starts in pairing mode, and the DA2 automatically reconnects to the last device it was connected with if it discovers that device is available.

The LED on the Power button provides power status and device connection information.

Keep the DA2 powered on. The DA2 will automatically reboot when the update process is complete. |

To power off the DA2 receiver, press and release the Power button on the DA2. The Power LED turns off and the DA2 goes to sleep.
To avoid clearing stored Bluetooth device settings, do not press-hold for more than ten (10) seconds.

If the receiver is not connected to a device, it will automatically go to sleep after about 20 minutes, without you needing to press the Power button.

While the DA2 is asleep, the DA2 attempts to keep the attached USB power source ‘awake’ using a nominal charge for 5 hours after powering off the receiver. This prevents you having to activate the USB Power Bank each time you use the receiver, After 5 hours, the ‘keep awake’ signal stops. To turn on the DA2 you will need to activate the USB power bank and then turn on the DA2.
