Working with local projects
- In TerraFlex, in the Select Project screen, tap Local. At the prompt, click Continue.
- Any local projects that are on your device are listed. To work in an existing local project, tap it to select it.
- Alternatively, tap Create new local project. To create a local project, you must do one of the following:

Once your project is selected / created, the Home screen opens. If you are using a Trimble GNSS receiver, connect to the receiver. See Connecting to a Trimble GNSS receiver.

Then follow one of these workflows to collect data:

Collecting new data by completing a form.

Work with tasks created in the field.

Draft forms
When completing a form in a local project, you can save the form as a draft to come back to it at any time.

, tap .

Tap Save As Draft.
Draft forms are not exported; TerraFlex only exports forms that are saved.
Deleting a local project
You can delete local projects if you no longer need them.
Tap / Delete Project . A message warns you if you have any data that you have not yet exported; it shows the number of forms not exported. To export any forms, tap Cancel, and export your forms as described above.
Changing projects
To change to a different project than the one you currently have active, tap then tap Change Project. You can then select a different cloud or local project.
