Working with cloud projects
- In TerraFlex, in the Select Project screen, select the cloud project you want to work in.

If you are using a Trimble GNSS receiver, connect to the receiver. See Connecting to a Trimble GNSS receiver.
NOTE – If you have a project selected already and you need to change to a different project than the one you currently have active, tap 
/ Change Project.
There are three workflows in TerraFlex for collecting data in the field:

Collecting new data by completing a form.

Working with tasks from an existing form (or forms) that you have been assigned from Trimble Connect, or working with tasks created in the field. See Working with tasks for more information.
Draft forms
When completing a form in a cloud project, you can save the form as a draft to come back to it at any time.

Tap Save As Draft.
Draft forms remain on the device and are not sync'd to Map Viewer while in draft state.
A draft form can also be deleted, as long as it has not been saved and was not imported as part of a task / ToDo.

On the Home screen, tap My Work, and tap the form you want to delete.

Tap
. Tap DELETE.
If the form has previously been saved or was imported as part of a task / ToDo, the option is not available.
Removing completed forms
To remove forms from your device once they have been uploaded (synchronized) to Trimble Connect, tap / Remove forms. In the Remove forms dialog, tap Remove forms.
A Can't remove forms message will display if:
-
there are no synced forms in your active project to remove.
-
any form in your active project is part of a Task; forms within a Task cannot be removed.
-
sync'ing is underway.
-
there are no collected forms in your active project to be removed.
Checking for project updates
TerraFlex synchronizes your cloud project in the background every 5 minutes. During synchronization, TerraFlex uploads your completed forms and downloads updates from the project in Trimble Connect Map Viewer, including forms collected by other users.
To manually check for project updates, tap / Check for project updates.
When Sync all project forms is enabled on the Map layers screen, TerraFlex checks Map Viewer for new or modified project forms during every background or manual synchronization. Project forms are read-only on your device. See Data layers for details.
After a sync completes, go to the Map screen and tap Update map to load the latest project forms.
If a form is deleted in Map Viewer, it remains on your device to avoid accidental data loss. The form appears in My Work with a status of DELETED. You are prompted to remove the form from your device manually.
TIP – To add reference layers to the Map, you also need to Check for project updates to download reference layers to your device. See Enabling reference layers for details.
Changing projects
To change to a different project than the one you currently have active, tap / Change Project. You can then select a different cloud or local project. See Using the Projects screen.
