To extend a renewable subscription
These steps are to extend subscriptions for customers who first ordered subscription services directly from you, their Trimble Distributor. If subscriptions are not extended the customer's subscription will automatically end after the expiry date shown under Subscriptions / Assign/Renew.

Under Subscriptions, click Assign/Renew.
- To save time, create a global filter for the appropriate sales or purchase order that applies to the order. See To filter items.
- Select the customer in the Customers panel.
- In the Subscriptions panel, click > next to the appropriate subscription service.

Click Extend for the appropriate subscription variant.
All current user licenses for the selected subscription variant will be extended. If the customer wants to extend only some user licenses, or to change some subscription variants to a different type as well as extending the service duration, you must cancel the current subscriptions and assign new ones.

Select the length of the new subscription period.

Click Extend.
The new subscription Expiry date is shown in the Subscriptions panel for the selected customer.
If the subscription is included in an active Date Alignment request, this is indicated here and the Extend option is not available. See To align subscription dates for more information.

Under Subscriptions, click Assign/Renew.

- In the Subscriptions panel, click > next to the appropriate subscription service.
- Catalyst and Penmap subscriptions will show the Extend button for a certain grace period after the subscription has expired. If you renew the subscription using the Extend button, the subscription is renewed from the original expiry date, not from "today". To renew the subscription from "today", in the Subscriptions panel, click
next to the appropriate subscription type.

Follow the process To assign a monthly or yearly subscription.

Use the Bulk Extend feature to extend all blocks for a particular product from existing available Virtual Warehouse stock. This feature makes it easier to extend multiple blocks of a product for a selected customer. To Bulk Extend a customer's subscription seats:

Under Subscriptions, click Assign/Renew.

Select the customer in the Customers panel.

In the Subscriptions panel, click > next to the subscription service you want to Bulk Extend.

. The Bulk Extend Subscription dialog opens.

Select the block identifier (Transaction ID) for each block that you want to extend. Alternatively click the "select all" checkbox. top left of the table, to select all available blocks.

Select the Service Duration — the number of time/units — that you want to extend each block by. You will need to have the required amount of stock available in your Virtual Warehouse Inventory to complete the order.
The Stock column indicates the number of units that will be consumed by the extension, compared to the amount of stock currently available.

Click Extend.

Review the order summary. If it is correct, click OK to submit the extension.
