Import and Export Dimensions

To import dimensions:

Dimensions created in other applications can be imported in DXF or DWG files, as long as the dimension type is supported in Trimble Business Center. If the dimension type is not supported, the dimension is exploded during the import process. Note that the dimension text is imported as-is; the dimension value is not dynamically calculated during the import process. For more information, see Import Data.

To export dimensions:

Dimensions that you create in Trimble Business Center can be exported to DXF or DWG files that can be opened up in other applications. Note that the dimension text is exported as-is; the dimension value is not dynamically calculated during the export process. For more information, see Export Data.
