Print Plan View

Use the Print Plan View command to print/plot one or more sheets from a plan set. You can plot to any of the printing or plotting devices supported by Windows.

To quickly open the project folder that you are currently working in, select Open Project Folder.

To print sheets from a plan view:

  1. Select Print Plan View in Drafting > Sheets.
  2. The following steps are optional:
    1. Select a template from the Sheet Set dropdown.
    2. Enter a Name.
    3. Enter a Scale.
    4. Under Workspace size, select a pre-formatted paper size, or enter a custom size using Width and Height.

      Select to use either Sheet units or Ground units, then select to print either to Portrait or Landscape.

    5. Under Arrange several plots in a grid, select the number of Rows and Columns to print, then enter the Overlap between the plots in millimeters.
  3. Optionally, add a grid to the plot by clicking the Add grid checkbox, then selecting a grid from the dropdown list. Select <New grid> to open the Grid Style Manager.
  4. Optionally, select a filter from the View Filter dropdown. The default is to view all.
  5. Enter the Location of the plot, or click and drag in the Plan View.
  6. Enter the Rotation, or use your mouse to rotate the plot in the Plan View.
  7. In the Save in Plan Set dropdown, select a plan set.
  8. In the Layer dropdown, select which layers to print.
  9. Click Print. Follow the instructions for Print Plan Set.
