Internet Base Station Service

The Internet Base Station Service (IBSS) is a Trimble service that allows you to simply and easily use the Internet to make a base station available to rovers in the field. WorksManager supports a ‘view’ mode of IBSS today. You can set up an IBSS within WorksManager.

Introduction to IBSS

The IBSS relays correction data over the internet to rovers in the field. IBSS provides a robust alternative to traditional radio setups, offering improved scalability and flexibility.

Important update: IBSS V2 Migration Trimble has officially decoupled IBSS from the legacy Trimble Connected Community (TCC) infrastructure. As of June 7, 2026, all users have been migrated to the new, more reliable IBSS V2 technology stack. The legacy myconnectedsite.com interface is now deprecated. All management and sharing tasks must now be performed within Trimble WorksManager.
