Open Media Files
When a media file is assigned to an object in Trimble Business Center, it is added to a media folder that is attached to the object. Following are some different ways to open and view media files.
Note: A media file can be in any format. To view the media file, you must have an appropriate external viewer for the file's format.
To open a media file:
In Plan View or 3D View:
- Select the Media Folder icon
displayed next to the object whose media file you want to open. Then right-click and select the media file you want to open.
In Project Explorer:
- In the Points list or Media Files list, right-click the media file (represented by a Media File icon
) and select to open the file. - In the Points list or Media Files list, right-click the media folder (represented by a Media Folder icon
) containing the media file and select the file.
In the media folder Properties pane or the media file Properties pane:
- Locate the file in the File Information section. Then click the Open button
located to the right of the File path field.
