Delete Media Files from the Project

When you delete a media file from your project, it is removed from all objects to which it was assigned and no longer displays beneath the Media Files node in the Project Explorer. If the deleted media file was the only file assigned to an object, the media folder for that object is deleted.

To delete media objects from the project:

1. Expand the Media Files node in the Project Explorer and browse to the media file you want to delete.

   As an alternative, if the media file is assigned to a point, you can expand the point node and media folder node in Project Explorer to locate the file.

2. Right click the file and select Delete.

   Note: Although the file is removed from your project, it is not actually deleted from the folder in which it is stored.
