Create a Mass Haul Export Location

Use the Create Mass Haul Export command to force the removal of a specified quantity of usable material at a particular station along a corridor's alignment. Export values specify exact quantities of material that must be removed at a particular point. All export earthworks specified at a particular location must be used; a deficit caused by export needs to be compensated for by the system.

Prerequisites:

To access the command:

To specify a mass haul export location:

  1. In the Name box, type an identifier for the export location as you want it to appear in the Project Explorer and Corridor Mass Haul Report.
  2. Confirm the name of the mass haul in the Corridor Mass Haul Analysis list.
  3. Specify the station along the alignment at which the export needs to occur by typing in the Station box or by picking it in the Plan View.

Note: Enter a station that is greater than the station where the first cross section occurs.

  4. Click Define Export Materials. The Define Export Material table displays. In the Material column select the type of material to export from the list of materials you have created in the Material and Site Improvement manager. In the Volume column, type the volume (compacted) of useable material to be exported. Continue until all material types at the export location have been entered. Click OK.

Note: If the material type is undefined, any material type will be exported at that station.

  5. Click Apply. Then create additional export locations or click Close. An icon appears at the location of each export in the Plan view and in the Mass Haul Diagram.
