Edit and Delete Corridor Templates

You can edit the properties for a corridor template, or you can delete the template from the corridor.

Note: To edit or delete instructions contained in a corridor template, see Edit and Delete Corridor Template Instructions.

Prerequisites:

To edit basic properties for a corridor template:

  1. Do one of the following to display the Properties pane for the corridor template you want to edit:
    • Right-click the template in the Project Explorer and select Properties in the context menu.
    • Select the template in Plan View or 3D View, then right click and select Properties in the context menu.
  2. Change template properties as necessary. For more information, see Create Corridor Templates.

In the Layer drop-down list, you can select the layer to which you want to associate the template. For more information on layers, see Understanding Layers and View Filters.

In the Use sampling distance from drop-down list, you can select the appropriate option for the template.

    • Project Settings - Select this option to use the default maximum sampling distance, which is specified in the Project Settings dialog. This distance, which is displayed in the Maximum sampling distance field, is the maximum distance between samplings (automatically generated templates) along an alignment in the corridor. To change the default maximum sampling distance for your project, select Project > Project Settings. In the Project Settings dialog, select Computations > Corridor.
    • This template - Select this option to specify a maximum sampling distance other than the distance specified in the Project Settings dialog. After selecting this option, enter an appropriate distance in the Maximum sampling distance field.
  3. When you are done, click Close.

To delete a template from a corridor:

Do one of the following:

  • Right-click the template in the Project Explorer and select Delete in the context menu.
  • Select the template in the Plan View, then right-click and select Delete in the context menu.
