Prerequisites:

To access the command:

  • Select Publish to TCC.
  • Right-click an imported image, and select Publish to TCC from the context menu.

Options:

  • TCC filespace - Select the subdirectory that you use as your collaboration area within your TCC organization.
  • TCC destination folder - Specify the folder within the filespace into which you want to publish
  • Publish project file - Check this to upload your .vce file, if you have saved it. For details, see the note on publishing project files.
  • Publish georeferenced images - Check this to upload any georeferenced images that you have imported and any images that you have georeferenced.
  • Publish layers - Check this to upload a layer-.kml file (Google Earth placemark) for these data types in your project: contour, point, point feature, line feature, trajectory, observation, baseline, linestring, and profile view. Click Select to choose specific layers.
  • Publish Snapshots folder - Check this to upload any .gif, .jpg, png and .tif files created by the Capture Image command. Click Select to choose specific files.
  • Publish Snapshots3D folder - Check this to upload any .hsf and .hmf files created by the Capture 3D command. Click Select to choose specific files.
  • Publish Google Earth Panorama folder - Check this to upload any panoramas built using Trimble VX-generated images that were created by the Process Panoramas command. Click Select to choose specific files.
  • Label points - Check this to upload labels for points on the layers you choose to upload.
  • Google offsets - In the Easting and Northing boxes, enter the offsets you want to use for your survey data when it is superimposed on the photographic view in Google Earth.

In addition, this file is created in TCC:

  • Inventory.xml - This lists all of the files that were uploaded by the command.

Scenarios:

  • If you do not have any applicable data (including a saved project) or do not check any of the boxes, only an empty Inventory.xml file is uploaded to TCC.
  • If you have files of the same name and type in the selected folder already, the command will synchronize the files; files with no duplicates will be uploaded, and duplicate files will be overwritten only by newer files (based on the timestamp) of the same name and type.
